Few words about us
The workshop was created in 1996 by the Agioritis Monk Georgios Makedos. Later he collaborated with Thomas Efthimios, who was united by their shared love for Roman ecclesiastical mosaics.
Determined to work the mosaic with traditional techniques, we studied the technique of miniature and especially the image of Agios Nikolaos of Stridias, which is located in the Holy Monastery of Stavronikita, Mount Athos. After laborious efforts, experiments and research studies we copied the image by making a faithful copy. At the beginning with natural rocks and binder acrylic glue.
